I’m James, the Graduate Talent Partner for Yorkshire here at Shape A Life. I believe the right person in the right role can change a young person’s life, seeing the impact our graduates have every single day is exactly what drives me.

At Shape A Life we all share the same goal of transforming young people’s lives, and being surrounded by like-minded people is exactly why I chose to be here.

Away from work, I split my time between the padel court and deciding where to eat next. Usually both on the same day.

I’m Eamon, Talent Partner for the West Midlands region. As someone lucky enough to have been shaped by fantastic teachers, I believe great educators change lives. I work with schools and children’s services to nurture purpose-driven graduates into the next generation of educators, SEND specialists, and social care professionals.

I genuinely love my role here at Shape A Life as it allows me to create a ripple effect: one supported graduate can positively shape hundreds of children’s lives over a career. The impact is human, long-lasting, and incredibly powerful.

Outside of the office, I try to keep active in a ‘all the gear, no idea’ kinda way, support the mighty Blues, KRO, fail in stopping my wife from booking holidays (I love them really) and basically revolving my life to the demanding wants and needs of Mr Pugsley, the world’s greatest pug.

I’m Katie, and I’m a Graduate Talent Partner at Shape A Life. I work closely with schools and graduates every day, matching passionate, driven individuals with settings where they can make a genuine difference. From building relationships with graduates to partnering closely with schools, my role centres around bringing the right people together so every young person has consistent, positive role models around them.

I love my job because I see first-hand the impact our graduates have on students. When schools share feedback about a young person coming out of their shell, growing in confidence, or simply feeling more supported because of one of our graduates, it makes me incredibly proud of what I do and reminds me exactly why I love it so much.

I am a Graduate Talent Partner at Shape A Life, leading our Northeast hub. Partnering with schools and education settings, attracting and assessing graduates, supporting safeguarding and compliance, and ensuring every placement is the right fit for both the setting and the candidate.

I care deeply about this work because education has such a powerful impact on a young person’s confidence, direction and future opportunities. I’m passionate about connecting talented, values-driven graduates with schools that truly need them particularly in areas where recruitment can be challenging. Knowing that the right support in a classroom can change a child’s experience of school is what motivates me every day.

One thing I love most about being part of Shape A Life is seeing the real, tangible impact of our work. Whether it’s a graduate gaining confidence and securing teacher training, or a school telling us how much of a difference a candidate has made to their pupils, those moments remind me why what we do matters.

Outside of work, I’m a keen runner and kickboxer, and I love anything that keeps me active and challenged. Training helps me stay focused and resilient, qualities I also bring into my role every day. When I’m not working or training, you’ll usually find me out on a walk with my two Frenchies, Henrik and Franco.

I’m Rachel and I am a Graduate Talent Partner at Shape A Life, working closely with schools and residential homes to recruit passionate graduates and support staff. On a day-to-day basis, I speak with graduates, match them to roles that align with their skills and aspirations, and support them throughout the recruitment process as they take their first steps into meaningful careers.

With a background in BSc Psychology and a dissertation focused on ASD in child development, this work really resonates with me and fuels my passion for helping children and young people thrive with the right support. On the other side, I also relate strongly to the graduates themselves having once been in their position, eager to make a difference and kickstart a rewarding career.

What I love most about being part of Shape A Life is seeing the real impact of the work we do. From helping graduates secure roles they’re genuinely passionate about to witnessing the positive difference they make in the lives of children and young people, it’s incredibly rewarding to know our work truly makes a difference.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me either snuggled up watching the latest Netflix documentary or out walking my dog Alfie with a podcast in my ears.
